General characteristics

Control develops and supplies  fixtures and test accessories :

  • For a vast field of applications – ICT (In-Circuit Test), functional test, Flash programming, EoL (End-of-Line) test systems, etc.
  • For all handling systems currently used in the market: online or offline, mechanical, pneumatic or vacuum operation
  • From simple mechanical fixtures, with a few hundred probes and low production volumes, to highly complex accessories with thousands of probes, double-sided probes, double acting, etc.

Fixture Validation – Probe Impact Analysis

As  a validation standard in the production of fixtures , Controlar uses microscopes to verify the impact analysis of the probe (Probe Impact Analysis) on the PCB.

After mounting the fixture and before electrical connections, a preliminary study is carried out to validate the perforation of the probe plate.

After the conclusion of the fixture, a new verification is performed, the results of which are recorded and included in the fixture documentation.

 

Turnkey projects

Whether you need fixtures or a  complete turnkey project (fixture + application) , Control has the ability to:

  • Develop ICT applications on various platforms, including MDA, Testjet, Digital / Hybrid tests
  • Perform Boundary Scan, functional tests, LED tests.
  • Integrate custom circuits for signal conditioning, noise filtering, downloading, surveillance, uploading, etc.
  • Integrate additional test equipment such as LED analyzers, Flash programmers, communication devices, etc.
  • Adjust and support the start of production and its escalation at the client’s facilities.

Boundary Scan (digital / hybrid tests):

EIIT has extensive know-how in Boundary Scan Test and is an official Goepel partner . More than 30 turnkey test systems with combined Checksum + Goepel platforms were delivered in recent years.


LED test

An ICT system has the capacity to run electrical (diode) -LED tests, but optical analysis is often required, not included in the scope of ICT systems. To overcome this obstacle, Controlar became an official partner of  FEASA  and uses FEASA equipment to perform LED and display analysis, fully integrated into ICT systems.


ISP (In-System Programming):

In-Circuit or In-System (ISP) device programming eliminates the limitations associated with traditional programming devices (on-socket or pre-programmed). ISP offers benefits for ESL (Electronic System Level) design and for manufacturing and programming processes.
